De Dolle Brouwers (Esen, Belgium)

Oerbier is dark due to the mixture of different types of malt and hours of cooking time. Only 'Golding' bubble hop from Poperinge are used and all De Dolle's beers are bottled with secondary fermentation. Up front there is a semi - sweetness to the beer. From there it goes into a lot of rasin, fig, and plum flavours alongside belgian candy sugar and maltiness. All that gets complimented by some yeasty esters and spice to round it all out.
